Medium Male Blue Heeler

Meet Rhino!

Rhino is a handsome male blue cattle dog; who at approximately 2 years old has been without a home to call his own for more than half his life after ending up at a pound as stray. Hear No Evil stepped up to rescue him and to give him a chance to find a family who will give him the happy and loved life he deserves.

Although, he looks very serious in pictures he is really is affectionate, outgoing and playful, yet also very gentle and he loves to snuggle.

Rhino loves observe the world from up high but also enjoys being involved in everything that is happening in his foster home.

Rhino already has all his basics sorted (sit, stay, come, look and drop) and has also learned to roll over, crawl and touch on command. He is crate, mat and toilet trained and his leash manners are improving.

Rhino is best suited to a family where any kids are aged 8+.He is good with other dogs of the same size or smaller and does prefer to be housed with females. He is good with cats, but isn't suited to life with pocket pets.

As a cattle dog you would expect a high energy dog but that's not true of Rhino. He would prefer to work a butt groove into the couch rather than work livestock and expend energy. He does enjoy a daily crazy lap or two in the backyard though.

Rhino is located in Townsville, QLD.
